Here at the German American Society of Central Florida, we offer some of the only authentic German Karneval & Fasching celebrations in the greater Orlando area
Members and guests of the German American Society of Central Florida can participate in the German Karneval celebrations each year. The German equivalent of Mardis Gras, Karneval or Fasching celebrations officially begin on the 11th of November and continue until the Tuesday before Lent.
All members are invited to join the Karneval Gesellschaft Rot Weiss committee which plans and coordinates the events along with the members of the Elferrat. Each season, the Elferrat elects a prinzenpaar which lead the events and represent the club throughout central Florida and often attend the annual GAMGA Gala in Las Vegas.
Karneval events include an Installation Ball where the new prinzenpaar is introduced, a Masken Ball, Narrensitzung, and Rosen Montag celebration. Reservations are required to attend.
The current Prinzenpaar are S.T. Peter I & I.L. Marianne I
