Karneval Gesellschaft

For those who are new to the idea of Karneval and Fasching, it is a time of festivity and merry making – a time to break the rules and poke fun at those who make them! 

Karneval is nicknamed “The 5th Season” in Germany and starts on November 11 at 11:11 AM and lasts until Ash Wednesday. The Fifth season beams with cultural richness and FUN!

Our club celebrates the start of the Season with a Karneval opening in November, followed by Narrensitzung (Session of Fools) in January, and the Maskenball (Costume Ball) in February.

We celebrate these events with our Prinzenpaar (Prince and Princess) and our Elferrat (the Council of Eleven), and our Prinzengarde (Dance Group).
